Dan Berbert, DVM

Dr. Dan Berbert has lived in Maryland most of his life, growing up in Montgomery County and attending Springbrook High School, then the University of Maryland as an undergraduate. While at the University of Maryland, Dr. Dan received the Gary Lee Lake Memorial Award for his enthusiasm and passion for the study of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Dan earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the Ohio State University in 1984. In September 1984 he joined Gaithersburg Animal Hospital, and has been compassionately caring for pet owners and their pets ever since. Dr. Dan is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association, and the Greater Baltimore Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Dan lives in Montgomery Village with his wife. The pet members of his family include four dogs, one cat. He also enjoys gardening, snow-boarding, beach trips and hiking. In his spare time, he raises berries, vegetables and herbs naturally at his Abundant Grace Farm in Damascus.
